Grants for woodland creation and hedging
There are many types of planting grants currently available, operated by many different organisations. Each grant is separately assessed and advice should be sought from the appropriate offices before any work is commenced.
Perhaps the best place to start for initial advice is the Forestry Commission (FC). The addresses for regional offices can be found on their web site.
Forestry Commission Officers will be able to offer advice on grants operated by the FC including creating new woodland , extending existing woodland, native hedging and some timber planting etc. They may also be able to provide other contacts if your scheme does not fall within their remit.
