We are a family owned and run Tree Nursery in West Wales, specialising in growing and supplying quality stock for native woodland creation, hedging etc.
All of our stock is cell-grown using a purpose designed tree & shrub cell-tray system. Our standard production unit is a 235cc cell with larger cell units available in limited numbers.
Cell grown plants have a strong, fibrous root system, which should ensure that plants get a good start in their new home. They are easy to handle and store (without the need to ‘heel-in’) leaving planting to be done at your convenience.
When using cell-grown plants the traditional planting season can be extended since it is not necessary to wait for the plants to become dormant prior to packaging - they can usually be supplied for planting from mid-September to mid-May (& often beyond, subject to stock being available).
